If my credit is less than perfect, can I still get a loan?

We Finance many people with previous credit problems from previous medical collections to previous bankruptcy.*

Can I get credit have an open loan with Peoples Credit now?

If you do, that is fine, we will be happy to process your credit application to see if we can get your loan approved.

What if I am looking to finance the purchase of an automobile, motorcycle, or boat?

We will be happy to process your application! To speed up the process you will want to have the year, make, model, VIN, mileage, and accessory information about the vehicle.

What if the car I am looking to finance is from a private seller?

We absolutely finance for private sales! If you finance through Peoples Credit rather than through a dealer you may be able to save large loan fees.

What if I am looking to refinance a secured loan?

We refinance secured loans from current customers and from other lenders. We would be happy to process your application to see if we can approve your request!

What if I have an automobile/motorcycle/trailer/boat without a lien and want to borrow against the value of that item?

We do make cash loans against existing titles, we would be happy to process your loan application!

Does Peoples Credit make unsecured loans?

We make unsecured loans up $3,000 to qualified buyers, we will be happy to help you make an application today!

If my loan is approved, how can I receive my money

We offer check, payment direct to dealers, AHC, and more.

How does my loan get approved??

We do not use robots or AI to decide your loan, a real person will review your application and if needed give you a call if there are questions.

If I have a car picked out at a dealer and the dealer has a lender, do I have to use their lender?

If the dealer is offering you a loan you are not required to take that loan, we may be able to offer you better rates, terms and better quality products (GAP, Warranty, etc.) at better prices than dealer will.*

Do I need proof of income?

The State of Illinois Law requires proof of income in at least one of the following ways:
-Official paystub from employer
-Bank statement
-Government income (Social Security etc.)
-Job letter from employer

We offer electronic verification free of charge as well

What if I have an ITIN?

We accept ITIN numbers and upon approval the customer will receive a list of what is required by law to make your loan.

How do I make my payments?

-Mail us a check, cashiers check, or money order
-Pay in person
-You can use our system (debit card only)
